Getting to Nunavik

Two airlines fly into Nunavik. First Air and Air Inuit offer scheduled flights from Montreal and Quebec City to Kuujjuaq and Hudson Bay.

Air Inuit offers regular flights from Kuujjuaq to the communities that are adjacent to the parks.

Getting to the parks

Charter flights (in Twin Otter planes or helicopters) are the best way to get to the parks. Gravel landing strips have been built at different spots throughout the parks. During winter, the parks can also be accessed by snowmobile, dog sled or cross-country skiing.

The parc national Tursujuq is accessible year-round, directly from its host village, Umiujaq.
