You live already in Nunavik or you dream to go river descent up North? There is your chance to explore one of the greatest river in Nunavik! Departing from Kuujjuaq, this is your opportunity to help us create a unique experience during the George River descent, from July 20th to 29th, 2019!
Live the unique experience of discovering the outfitting camp of the May family at the foot of the magnificent Pyramid Mountain, followed by the descent of the mythic George River by canoe. This wild river is a challenge for advance paddlers but remains accessible to beginners feeling adventurous, thanks to our experienced guides. This will be the official opening of Ulittaniujalik National Park,
created in 2016 and second biggest national park in Quebec.
In exchange of your participation and valuable input, the price is reduced
plus taxes per person for 10 days in the Park. We take care of everything! The price includes transportation by plane from Kuujjuaq, canoeing and camping gear (canoes, paddles, dry suits, tents, mats, sleeping bags, …), your meals, the help of our guides and all the activities planned to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the park.
We will select participants among candidates. Don't hesitate to reach out, we are looking for outdoor enthusiasts, not professional athletes! To submit your application, fill out this form:
